Creating a digital platform for municipalities and authorities.
We build a complete digital platform for local government and utility authorities — and we use AI both to accelerate how we deliver government technology and to automate workflows for our clients through that platform.
Three things we do, every day.
Diversified Technology is a digital platform and support organization built around three commitments to the municipalities and authorities we serve through our government technology.
Keep a finger on the pulse of developing technology
Our engineers continuously evaluate emerging platforms, frameworks, and AI capabilities so we recognize meaningful breakthroughs in government technology early — and can tell the difference between a genuine shift and a passing trend.
Lean on our clients to guide our thinking
The municipalities and authorities we serve see friction in their operations before we ever do. We listen closely to where they’re stuck, where they’re losing time, and where citizens are asking for more — and let those signals shape the digital platform we build.
Innovate applications of new technology to benefit our clients
Knowing what is possible isn’t enough. We put new capabilities directly into the digital platform our clients use every day — turning emerging government technology into measurable savings, faster service, and less repetitive work for staff.

Twenty-six years of evolving alongside our clients.
Diversified Technology’s initial efforts were focused on municipal utility services. The Diversified Billing system began life running on IBM minicomputers, and evolved over time to take advantage of DOS- and Windows-based personal computers. Then came the internet — and with it, the foundation of the digital platform we build on today. Each evolution in government technology allowed municipal clients to do more for their customers with less human resource.
Development of the citizen-facing applications in the original Citizen Action Center broadened the company’s focus from the utility department to the entire municipality, and pushed our digital platform out to the public for the first time. These applications gave citizens the tools to interact with their local government at their convenience, 24/7. Gathering citizen input digitally — rather than over the telephone or across the counter — created the foundation for what came next.
The Citizen Action Center expanded into a full digital platform of software tools driving automated processes that dramatically increase both the efficiency and effectiveness of services local government provides to its citizens. That platform is what we offer today as the Local Government Package — with the Citizen Action Center now included as part of it.
A future where digital government thrives in support of ever-growing service demands.
Citizen expectations keep climbing. Staff capacity does not. Our job is to keep closing that gap with a digital platform that’s genuinely useful on day one and gets smarter every quarter as government technology evolves.
